About Me

Oftentimes our negative beliefs about ourselves can prevent personal growth and can lead to emotional suffering. People can get stuck in these patterns that disrupt their lives and relationships. My office is a welcoming space where we can work together to get un-stuck. You are the expert in your own life, but I can help you work toward your goals and emotional health.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor’s of Psychology and English. Then I completed my Masters in Science, Counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University-Long Beach. I am trained in EMDR and Prologned Exposure, which are two specific trauma therapies.

I am originally from Minnesota, but have lived in California, and have spent time traveling all over the world. I have 2 kids and 2 cats named Eevee and Sunny (the cats occasionally like to join a telehealth session as my HIPAA compliant business associates). I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and am active in social justice issues, as I believe therapy extends beyond the therapy room and into systems surrounding us.

In my ample free time (hah!) I love to hike and paint and listen to music. I can’t wait to meet you!
